We’re excited to announce the release of Slurm-web v5.2.0, bringing significant improvements to the user interface and new filtering capabilities.
Slurm is the world leading workload manager for HPC clusters with all most advanced features to manage jobs and resources efficiently with a powerful command-line interface (CLI).
Slurm-web provides a clear graphical user interface with views to track your jobs, intuitive insights and advanced visualizations on top of Slurm to monitor status of HPC supercomputers in your organization, in a web browser on all your devices.
What’s New?
- Advanced core allocation visualization (#293)
A new graphical representation has been implemented to display allocated cores more clearly and intuitively, providing better visibility into resource utilization across your cluster.
- Direct URL to fullscreen cluster visualizations (#631)
New routes have been added to display fullscreen cluster graphical representations directly, making it easier to access and share specific cluster visualizations without navigating through multiple pages.
- Nodes names in cluster visualizations (#644)
It is now possible to display node names on cluster graphical representations when there is enough room for the text labels. This behavior is enabled by default and can be turned off from the UI settings.
- Failed job filtering (#611)
You can now filter jobs in the failed state, making it easier to identify and troubleshoot problematic jobs in your workload.
- Cache statistics reset (#603)
Added functionality to reset cache statistics, giving administrators better control over monitoring and debugging cache performance.
- MIT License adoption
As previously announced on our blog, Slurm-web has officially adopted the MIT license, providing more flexibility for users and contributors.
This release also includes several bug fixes and improvements aimed at enhancing overall user experience. Check out the release notes for more details.
